How is STATE different from Behance, Instagram, Reddit, or other social platforms?
STATE is dedicated to project sharing and design critique. Unlike Behance, it incentivizes commenting over sharing. Unlike Instagram, TikTok, or Reddit, it's built for professional growth, not likes. STATE also lets you respond with sketches and images, so you can help others understand concepts visually unlike other social platforms.
I have a complex project. Will STATE let me upload it?
Yes. STATE supports most industry-standard file types and is always adding more. Images, PDFs, videos, 3D models, Figma links. Show us what you've got.
How much does it cost to post?
Completely free. STATE believes all designers should be able to share their work without a paywall. Hosting is crowd-sourced and privately funded so donations are accepted but never required.
